Defending the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏDream InitiativeÌý(51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏDream) is a part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ (AU) Washington College of Law (WCL).
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏDream’s mission is to provide free immigration legal services to undocumented and other immigrant undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in colleges or universities in the DC metropolitan area. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏDream may also provide free immigration legal services to family members of currently enrolled students.
Thanks to a generous gift from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏand WCL alum William I. Jacobs, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏDream is now a reality. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏDream firmly believes that all students can thrive in college when they feel safe and can access opportunities and resources. Our legal services address one barrier to higher education – insecure immigration status – and, with the help of our partners and allies, we address students’ other needs through referrals.
